New in EasyReader Version 2026.01

EasyReader App continues to deliver important maintenance updates and strengthen library connections, helping readers with vision impairments and other print disabilities enjoy accessible versions of their favourite books.

With this release, a new naming convention has been introduced to make it easier to identify and refer to updates each year. Each app release and update will now align with the calendar year and use consecutive release numbers.  


EasyReader App version 2026.01 is available across all platforms:

  • iOS
  • iPadOS
  • Android
  • Amazon Fire
  • Windows
  • macOS

You can also use EasyReader app on Chromebook, if your device supports Android apps.  

Tibi Library: CereProc TTS voices are now available 

High-quality text to speech voices from CereProc TTS are now available for EasyReader users with a Tibi Library account.  

New Translation Language

Arabic translations are now available for EasyReader users.

Updates and Fixes for Windows:

  • EasyReader now installs correctly on devices which have Windows Smart App Control enabled
  • The EasyReader interface is now available in French language
  • Fix applied so that it is now possible to open books in folders which are named with non-English characters

Updates and Fixes for iOS:

  • EasyReader is now aligned with Apple's new requirement to be compatible with devices running iOS 15.6 and later

  • Danish translation now available in EasyReader App on iOS.
