| Audio book | All screens listing books | Icon to indicate book is an audio-only book |
| Audio-and-text book | All screens listing books | Icon to indicate book is an audio-and-text book |
| Text book | All screens listing books | Icon to indicate book is a text-only book |
| Side menu | All screens | Positioned top left corner, the Side menu provides access to key features including My Books, Libraries, My Newspapers, My Clipboard Texts, and About and Help. On a Windows computer, the Side menu is expanded and appears centre left. |
| Book information | All screens listing books | Positioned beside the book title, this option provides access to the synopsis and management options. |
| Search | My Books screen and Reader screen | Enables you to search for a book on the "My Books" screen or text in a text-based book on the Reader screen. |
| Sort | My Books screen | Enables you to organise your book list by title, author, or most recently read. |
| View | My Books screen | Enables you to view your book list by tiles or list. This option is not supported on Android devices. |
| Import | My Books screen | Enables you to import compatible files. This option is not available on Apple devices. To import a compatible file on an Apple device requires you to Share the file with EasyReader. |
| Add | All screens enabling the adding of items | Icons showing the plus symbol enables you to add or choose additional options, for example, to show the list of newspaper libraries or the adding of new Clipboard text. |
| Bookmark | Reader screen | Enables the insertion of a bookmark into a book. You can insert multiple bookmarks and they can be inserted into audio-based and text-based books. |
| Text settings | Reader screen | Enables you to change the appearance of a text-based book. |
| Audio settings | Reader screen | Enables you to change the playback of a book. |
| Book options | Reader screen | Enables you to apply a sleep timer, review your current position in a book, choose between TTS or narrator voice, and choose whether to view PDF files using PDF View or Text View. |
| Book navigation | Reader screen | Enables you to view and navigate to book elements such as Headings, Bookmarks, and Pages. |
| Previous | Reader screen | Enables you to move back through the book in increments you set in navigation settings. |
| Play | Reader screen | Begins the playback of the book. |
| Pause | Reader screen | Stops the playback of a book. |
| Next | Reader screen | Enables you to move forward in a book in increments you set in Navigation settings. |
| Navigation settings | Reader screen | Enables you to set the length of movement performed by the Previous and Next buttons. |
