What’s new in EasyReader App with update to version 11.04
We are pleased to announce the update to version 11.04 of EasyReader App is scheduled for release in the coming weeks.
Version 11.04 will be made available across all platforms:
• iOS
• iPadOS
• Android
• Amazon Fire
• Windows
• macOS
You can also use EasyReader App on Chromebooks where Android app support is enabled.

New RNIB Bookshare
This November, the Royal National Institute for Blind People (RNIB) is launching an update to their RNIB Bookshare service. Dolphin is working in close partnership with the RNIB and has prepared EasyReader App version 11.04 to support this new service once it launches in the UK.
Please note that you may need to enable the library in ‘Manage Libraries’ view and login to the library again upon release.
What’s New
Update for EasyReader Mac
We are working on a new installer for Mac (Intel) computers and this will be available as a download soon from the Dolphin website.
For users on modern Mac (Apple Silicon) computers, we will enable the EasyReader iOS app to be used on Mac (Apple Silicon) through the Mac App Store.
Fixes and improvements for library partners
In close collaboration with our library partners, version 11.04 update includes these fixes:
- Legimus: streaming fix in EasyReader Android App
We have made a potential fix for streaming DAISY books from Legimus on EasyReader Android. This may also affect streaming DAISY from other library partners.
- Éole: download fix
We made a fix for being able to download a certain book type from the Éole library.
- Sugamya Pustakalaya: download fix
We have added support for downloading the ePUB type 'Structured ePUB without Proofreading'.
- No text visible in some ePUBs
We have made a fix for the issue that meant some ePUBS were not displaying content in the reader view.
Additional improvements and fixes
EasyReader App version 11.04 also introduces:
- MS OneDrive fix
For EasyReader Premium users, a fix has been introduced to provide access to files and documents using business Microsoft accounts.
- Screen Reader issues with link backs in some DAISY books
Some DAISY books are using so-called 'link backs' and a bug was introduced recently that caused screen readers to announce a link at each element. This is now fixed.
- Plus, additional fixes and improvements to enhance your experience.
