EasyReader Help & Instructions
Synchronise content across devices with EasyReader Premium
An EasyReader Premium Subscription enables you to synchronise library books and key settings across multiple devices.
You synchronise:
- Books downloaded from a library.
A new book will appear on a different device when you complete the download of the book, or an existing book is opened in the Reader. Simply select the book from the "My Books" screen to download it to your current device.
- Reading position on each library book.
You can continue reading your library book from where you left off on another device. Your reading position is stored when the "Pause" button is pressed in the Reader, and when you return to your "My Books" screen.
- Bookmarks added to library books.
You can navigate to, and view any text notes associated with, bookmarks you have added to a library book on another device. Your bookmarks are stored when you return to the "My Books" screen.
- Entries added to the "My Clipboard Texts" feature.
You can view the entries you save in "My Clipboard Texts" on other devices. The entries are stored as soon as you save the text on a device.
- Libraries enabled in the Side menu.
Your preferred list of libraries is shared across your devices. Your library list is stored as soon as you enable or disable a library in the "Manage Libraries" list.
- Login credentials for libraries.
Your login credentials are securely stored as soon as you successfully log in to a new library. By saving login credentials, you only need to sign into a library once to browse the collection on any device.
Please note: EasyReader Premium is currently not able to store login credentials for the following libraries: RNIB Reading Services, Blind Low Vision New Zealand, Google Classroom, Microsoft Education. - Reading preferences including text font, colours, and Pronunciation lists.
Reading preferences are stored when you exit the book and return to the My Books list. This means when you open a book on a different device, your preferred fonts and colours will be applied.
However, please be aware that although many reading preferences are synchronised across devices, some preferences are set based on the current device. For example, text size depends on the screen size of the current device.
