Highlight text with an EasyReader Plan
You can apply a highlight colour to important passages of text when subscribed to an EasyReader Plan. You will find highlighting is a powerful study tool when used strategically. For best results, highlighting should be used sparingly, applied to no more than fifteen percent of the text, and used as part of a clear colour system, for example, Yellow for definitions, Blue for examples, Green for key concepts, etc.
To highlight text:
- Go to the place in the book where you want to highlight text.
- Select the "Text highlight colour" button. If you are using a Windows computer, open the context menu and choose "Text highlight colour".
- Select a colour.
When a highlight colour is applied, the current paragraph is displayed in the selected colour with a drop shadow. Available colours include Grey, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, and Purple.
To go to, edit, or remove highlighting:
- Select the "Book navigation" button.
- Select the "Text highlight colour" tab.
- Select, edit, or remove the highlight. You can also filter the list of highlighted text on a specific colour for ease of reference.
