Explore text with an EasyReader Plan

You can use Explore tools when subscribed to an EasyReader Plan.

Explore tools harness the power of AI to help you better comprehend text. These tools are designed to guide, prompt, and support your learning journey. Tools include text summarisation, simplification, tutoring, and the use of study aids such as quizzes and flashcards.

To begin exploring your text:

1. Open a text-based book.
2. Navigate to the section of the book you want to explore. You can choose to study the text in the current heading, paragraph, or you can select a section of text for study.
3. Select the "Explore" button. If you are using Windows, you can also open the "Tools" menu and select "Explore".
4. Choose the text you want to explore. The options include Automatic, Heading, Paragraph, or Selected text. Automatic is the default value and, in most cases, will send the text within the current heading. This will only differ if the book is poorly formatted, for example, where the current heading contains a large number of pages such as the whole book.
5. Choose the study tool you would like to use.
