Access Windows settings with an EasyReader Plan
You can access additional options for EasyReader App on the Windows platform when subscribed to an EasyReader Plan. These include the ability to change the download folder for books you receive plus the ability to monitor personal folders for accessible content.
To change the download folder:
- From the "Side menu", select "Settings".
- In the "Download books to" option, select the "Browse" button.
- Select the new folder location and choose "OK".
IMPORTANT: EasyReader does not move existing books to the new folder. If you require access to the books, you can either import the books or add the folder as a personal folder in the Side menu.
To add a personal folder:
- From the "Side menu", select "Settings".
- In the "Add books from folders" section, select the "Add" button.
- Select the folder location and choose "OK".
- Enter a name and choose "OK".
The folders you add will appear in the "Devices & Folders" section of the Side menu. The folder and its subfolders are scanned for compatible files, and the results are presented in a list.
