EasyReader Help & Instructions
Manage bookmarks in a book
You can insert bookmarks in text-based books and in audio-based books that you open from the "My Books" screen. Bookmarks enable you to mark important places in a book for easy reference in the future. Places may include favourite passages, quotes, and other key information that may help you with your studies.
A bookmark can also contain a text note. You may wish to add a text note to remind you why the bookmark exists or to record important points about the passage.
To add a bookmark:
- Go to the place in the book where you want to add a bookmark.
- Select the "Bookmark" button. If you are using a Windows computer, open the context menu and choose "Add". A blue bookmark symbol will mark the bookmark's position in the book.
- If you wish to add a text note to the bookmark, repeat the previous step.
To go to, edit, or remove a bookmark:
- Select the "Book navigation" button.
- Select the "Bookmarks" tab.
- Select, edit, or remove the bookmark.
tip: You can export bookmarks when subscribed to an EasyReader Plan. You may find this useful in creating revision sheets for subjects, or references for essays and reports. Elements you can export include the bookmark position, your text notes, the text at the bookmark position, and details about the book. The "Export" option is available in the "Book navigation" option or, if you are using Windows, through the "Tools" menu.
